Dioptra Case Studies Are Adding to the Evidence Base of VfM of Social Assistance

As part of the Better Assistance in Crises (BASIC) Research funded by UK Aid, a thematic review on Value for Money (VfM) of social assistance in fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCAS) flagged that comparable cost data on humanitarian cash transfers is more difficult to obtain than in social protection settings. Dioptra and the consortium’s collaboration were acknowledged in adding considerably to the evidence base through several case studies.
